Romance of the Three Kingdoms 三国演义

Romance of the Three Kingdoms, one of the four classic novels of ancient China, chronicles the political quarrels, warfare and diplomatic interactions between the three states of Wei, Shu and Wu. Many great heroes who became household names in China are vividly depicted in the novel. This book is an abridged version of the novel and contains 21 stories, each about 3,000 characters long or shorter. All stories are limited to the 2500 characters required for HSK Level 5. By reading the classics, Chinese language learners can further improve their reading skills and gain a better understanding of Chinese culture. In this book, each story is annotated with pinyin. A "pinyin invisible map" is included so readers who want to read the stories without referring to pinyin can cover it.
